Travel : Berlin

In March, I visited Berlin for a 3 days. It was sort of on a whim, but sometimes you forget how big the world is and how much there is to see. This was the feeling my boyfriend and I had anyway, when we booked our trip. Travelling is something I'm passionate about and this year in particular, I've learned that if there's something you want to do or somewhere you want to go, you should just go ahead and do it!

Berlin was our choice for a variety of reasons, including the amount of time we had to spare, our interest in the history, etc! As I said, we spent 3 days there but those 3 days were the perfect amount of time for us to make the most out of what Berlin has to offer.

On our first day, we arrived at noon and hopped straight onto the U-Bahn and into the heart of the city. We spent the day mainly getting familiar with the area, walking the beautiful streets. We did most of our sight seeing the next day, using the hop-on-hop-off buses, which took us to see some of the most famous sites including the Holocaust Memorial, Reichstag building, Check-point Charlie and so on. We tried our first Bratwurst and devoured a lot of german pastries. Overall, the trip was amazing and ultimately has developed an adventurous travel bug inside us to continue to explore what our beautiful world has to offer!
